Mulherrin Farm
Hanover, New Hampshire
At this private residence set in a forest setting, JRLA carved select vistas through the woodland canopy to the surrounding hills and introduced native understory trees, shrubs, and wildflowers to the foreground. An ordered tree and perennial bordered drive court, retained on the west by a field stone wall and stairs, leads to both the front entry and the private back yard where a dry stream bed of boulders and river stone edged by serviceberry, summersweet, iris, and ferns terminates at a stone garden pool.
