A modern architectural work by internationally recognized architect Rick Joy, Woodstock Farm presents a dramatic stone and shingle house and barn set on 210 acres of Vermont countryside.
JRLA was commissioned to develop a plan to seamlessly integrate the house and barn with the broader landscape. Design focused on realigning drive, incorporating larger agricultural fields and opening up woodland vistas, extending stone walls and native plantings along the road front, and extensive regrading to soften and naturalize the built landform.
